How to vote

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 3, according to the city of Rialto's election calendar. Voters may cast a ballot at any polling place in San Bernardino County, according to the Victor Valley Daily Press.

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters has 77 ballot drop boxes open until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can find the nearest one at Elections.SBCounty.gov.

Mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Nov. 3. The Registrar of Voters encourages voters mailing ballots close to Election Day to take them inside a U.S. Post Office and ask for a hand-stamped postmark.

When to expect results

The county Registrar of Voters lists the canvass of the election beginning Nov. 4. The deadline to complete the official canvass and certify results is Dec. 3.

Election night tallies are only the start of the counting process. The county said voters can return to its updated Election Results page for the latest available numbers and check the "Next Update" information to see when additional results are expected.

Official results will be posted at Elections.SBCounty.gov/newlook.
