Rialto's City Clerk's Office will stay open 13 hours on Tuesday, Nov. 3, giving voters a local place to get help and drop off ballots for the general election.

The office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the city's event calendar. The City of Rialto lists the office address as 150 S. Palm Avenue, Rialto, CA 92376.

The Rialto City Clerk & Management Services office also serves as an official ballot drop-box site. A public notice from San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters Joani Finwall lists the location as both a staffed indoor drop box and a secure outdoor drop box. The outdoor box has been available around the clock since Oct. 5 and will be locked at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

The county Registrar's office in San Bernardino will also be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, according to the county's voting options page.

Voters who still have a mail ballot at home have several return options. San Bernardino County mailed ballots to all active registered voters, according to the county Registrar. Ballots can be returned by mail with no postage required, but they must be postmarked no later than Nov. 3. Ballots returned by mail must also be received by the Registrar within seven days following the election.

One tip for last-minute mailers: the county Registrar advises voters mailing close to the deadline to go inside a U.S. Post Office and request a manual postmark. That ensures the ballot is dated on time.

Voters using any drop box across the county must deliver their ballot by 8 p.m. on Election Night.

The city's general phone number is 909-820-2525. For election-specific questions, the city calendar directs residents to call 909-820-2519. The county Registrar of Voters can be reached at 909-387-8300.
